Elle participera aussi à la table ronde The healthspan hustle: Developing in the longevity ecosystem.
- vitamine D (2 000 UI par jour) ;
- et/ou des oméga-3 (1 g par jour) ;
Table ronde « The healthspan hustle: Developing in the longevity ecosystem »

The focus will include gut dysbiosis and the potential of targeted nutritional interventions to promote healthy ageing. The company will also highlight its Age Slower solution, which combines omega-3s and vitamin D as studied in the European DO-HEALTH clinical trial. It will also take part in the panel discussion The healthspan hustle: Developing in the longevity ecosystem.
“How can we make our later years some of the best of our lives?” It is with this aim in mind that Andrey Khabakhpashev, Senior Vice President for North America at dsm-firmenich, is calling on the sector to rethink longevity.
“The Longevity Shift 2.0: The Gut Effect”: the influence of the gut microbiota on longevity
At stand #6264 at SupplySide Global 2026, DSM-Firmenich will present the new version of its interactive experience The Longevity Shift, first unveiled in 2025.
This 2026 version, entitled The Gut Effect, will focus on gut health and its influence on healthy life expectancy. Gut dysbiosis is considered one of the markers of ageing.
It will draw on key research advances concerning the links between the gut microbiota and longevity, highlighting the importance of targeted nutritional interventions.
“This year, we are delving deeper into one of the key markers of ageing that offers significant potential for nutritional intervention: gut dysbiosis. Promising research shows that the role of the gut microbiota extends far beyond digestion, with links to immune function, brain health, mood and health throughout life […] This new knowledge can be translated into solutions that help extend healthy life expectancy”, explains Andrey Khabakhpashev, Senior Vice President for North America at dsm-firmenich.
dsm-firmenich advises visitors to book their 20-minute slot in advance, given the success of the previous event.
Introducing Age Slower: a combination of omega-3 and vitamin D studied in the DO-HEALTH trial
dsm-firmenich’s market-ready solution, Age Slower, will be showcased at the stand, alongside other solutions from the company’s portfolio. The formula combines two of the company’s ingredients: life’s®OMEGA 60, omega-3s derived from microalgae, and Quali-D®, a vitamin D. These nutrients were studied in DO-HEALTH, Europe’s largest trial dedicated to healthy ageing.
According to dsm-firmenich, the DO-HEALTH study demonstrated a slowdown in biological ageing of up to 10 per cent over three years.
A post-hoc analysis of the DO-HEALTH trial was conducted among 777 participants. It assessed, over three years, the effects of various interventions on four epigenetic clocks based on DNA methylation (PhenoAge, GrimAge, GrimAge2 and DunedinPACE):
- vitamin D (2,000 IU per day);
- and/or omega-3s (1 g per day);
- and/or a home-based exercise programme.
The results showed that omega-3s alone slowed biological ageing, as measured by three epigenetic clocks: PhenoAge, GrimAge2 and DunedinPACE. The combination of the three interventions demonstrated additive effects on PhenoAge.
Roundtable discussion: ‘The healthspan hustle: Developing in the longevity ecosystem’
Alongside its presence in the exhibition area, dsm-firmenich will take part in the event’s conference programme on 27 October at 4.00 pm (PDT) in the Islander Ballroom B. A panel discussion entitled “The race for healthspan: Developing within the longevity ecosystem” will bring together Seletha Periman, Senior Director of Marketing, Innovation and Business Development HNC at dsm-firmenich, alongside other industry experts to discuss the latest insights and strategies in the field of longevity.
“By linking our scientific expertise to its practical application, we help brands create differentiated, scientifically backed and market-ready solutions that are enjoyable for consumers, designed to advance preventive health and enable them to enjoy their later years to the full,” said Seletha Periman.
