Esenco rejoint Firmalis et Lavollée

SIDG vient d’acquérir la société française Esenco pour renforce son pôle alimentaire et nutraceutique. Esenco rejoint Firmalis et Lavollée tout en conservant son savoir-faire ainsi que l’engagement de ses cofondateurs qui ont choisi d’investir dans ce partenariat aux côtés de Waterland (groupe européen de capital-investissement) et des managers de SIDG (Lavollée/Firmalis).
Cette acquisition s’inscrit pleinement dans la stratégie du groupe SIDG de bâtir un leader indépendant de la distribution d’ingrédients de spécialités, tout en respectant sa dimension familiale et son ADN.
Esenco va enrichir l’offre et élargir la couverture commerciale du groupe dans les secteurs de la nutrition et de la nutraceutique. Elle apporte en effet des gammes spécifiques et innovantes dans le domaine de la nutraceutique (extraits de plantes, probiotiques, produits de la ruche, vitamines et minéraux naturels, fibres végétales, extraits de fruits, poudres et extraits de levure, céréales et légumineuses, colorants naturels, additifs bio, acides aminés vegan).
La société complète également la couverture assurée par les entités historiques de SIDG, en élargissant la base clients en France et en Europe, tout en apportant son expertise, y compris technique et réglementaire, dans certains segments stratégiques tels que les compléments alimentaires, la nutrition sportive et la santé préventive.
De son côté, SIDG va permettre à Esenco de renforcer son développement en Europe, notamment en ce qui concerne ses gammes nutraceutiques spécifiques.

Esenco joins Firmalis and Lavollée
SIDG has just acquired the French company Esenco to strengthen its food and nutraceutical division. Esenco joins Firmalis and Lavollée while retaining its expertise and the commitment of its co-founders, who have chosen to invest in this partnership alongside Waterland (European private equity group) and SIDG managers (Lavollée/Firmalis).
This acquisition is fully in line with the SIDG group’s strategy of building an independent leader in the distribution of speciality ingredients, while respecting its family dimension and DNA.
Esenco will enrich the group’s offering and expand its commercial coverage in the nutrition and nutraceuticals sectors. It brings specific and innovative ranges in the field of nutraceuticals (plant extracts, probiotics, bee products, natural vitamins and minerals, vegetable fibres, fruit extracts, yeast powders and extracts, cereals and legumes, natural colourings, organic additives, vegan amino acids).
The company also complements the coverage provided by SIDG’s long-standing entities, expanding the customer base in France and Europe, while contributing its expertise, including technical and regulatory expertise, in certain strategic segments such as food supplements, sports nutrition and preventive health.
For its part, SIDG will enable Esenco to strengthen its development in Europe, particularly with regard to its specific nutraceutical ranges.
